This seminar is intended for the non-power system engineer and others who want to develop a basic understanding of power systems, their components, and how they fit and act together within a power system. Overall concepts of power system design and operation will be stressed as they lead to an understanding of the hows and whys of power system design and operation. The seminar is devoid of mathematics. However, a basic understanding of high school algebra and physics is required. Fundamental concepts are emphasized.
